More recently, in 2019, we began working with Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Trust, to help identify the best solution for them. The results - a successful 6 weeks implementation seamlessly moved across King’s Lynn from three separate suppliers to a single end to end system to cover agency cascade and direct engagement.  We have since expanded our services to offer Bank/APP and AHP DE - with £836,000 DE VAT savings since start of contract, and a £3m reduction in medical agency spend.

Bedford is an acute district hospital with a small medical staffing team. When our sister company, Holt Workforce Management, were first appointed the hospital was trying to manage a large number of agency suppliers on their own and struggled to control rates and monitor compliance effectively.  As a small team this also meant they had limited resource left to focus on other areas such as revalidation, appraisals and rostering.  Since Holt's initial appointment, Bedford Hospital has now merged with Luton & Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust – now Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
